MESSAGE FORM THE PRESIDENT

It is an honor and privilege to serve as President of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers for the 2026–2027 bar year.

HAWL has always been more than an organization, we are a community. We are a network of talented, compassionate, and resilient legal professionals who uplift one another, create meaningful connections, and provide opportunities for our members to thrive. I have found HAWL to be a place where mentorship becomes friendship and individual success becomes our collective success.

These values inspired this year's theme: Better Together.

We are better together when we mentor the next generation of lawyers, support one another through the demands of our profession, serve our community, and intentionally create spaces where every member feels seen, valued, included, and empowered.

This year, my vision for HAWL is centered on growth, connection, and sustainability. We will continue to expand our membership, strengthen strategic partnerships, create meaningful professional and personal development opportunities, and build an inclusive community for legal professionals at every stage of their careers.

I am grateful for those who paved the way before us and excited for all that lies ahead. I truly believe HAWL's best days are yet to come because, together, there is so much we can accomplish.

I look forward to serving, growing, and building with you this year. We are truly Better Together.
